The team would love to sincerely appreciate all the physicians, foundations and organizations that helped us throughout the process. Our project would not come as far as it is now without their generous support. We would love to acknowledge their help and effort through this page

Dr. Ashley Gubbles

Doctor Ashley Gubbels is a board-certified gynecologist at the University of Rochester who is trained in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery with a special focus on chronic pelvic pain. She stressed the importance of educating teenagers and physicians about endometriosis as there is not enough accessible material presented targeting these two groups about endometriosis education. She also suggested to present the material through brochures or other accessible format and distributing them to clinics and health offices. These suggestions let the team develop Endo Edu to create educational materials, which include a website, infographics, and brochures that contain information for endometriosis. Dr. Gubbels has generously offered to revise our educational material multiple times and through the help of Dr. Gubbels, the team is able to create contents that are accurate and meaningful to the community. Thank you, Dr. Gubbels!

Diva cares is the community impact section of Diva Cup, a menstrual cup that has been featured in the menstrual health hub and has worked very hard on promoting the use of cups in different communities to reduce the waste resulting from disposable hygiene products.

Diva Cares representative Sophie Zivku stressed on the importance of providing educational material about the general anatomy and physiology of the female reproductive system as most patients and even some physicians lack proper knowledge concerning its health and possible disorders. Ms. Zivku also pointed to the importance of providing educational materials on the proper ways of using hygiene products. Their suggestions and advice helped us to make the project more holistically.
